Vacation to "Aunt" Laura's - The Lake

On Tuesday we went to Sonic for lunch and got to be served by a lady on roller skates! Tons of fun...unfortunately Jonas slept through the whole thing. The waitress did give us toys for him though! Later in the day, we went to a beautiful lake near Laura's house. We had a nice walk and saw a bunch of baby ducks. We stayed and had dinner at a restaurant there. Jonas was out until about 9 PM, but he was a good boy!

Vacation to "Aunt" Laura's - The Car Trip

Jonas was a real trooper on the 15 hour trip to see "Aunt" Laura in Charlotte, NC. It turned out that the DVD player didn't work in the car we took, but he managed to entertain himself! He played with stickers, read some books, and had a great time looking for cows and horses outside. He also got to play for a little while in a different McDonald's Play Place in Pennsylvania!

Dinner at Greg & Tara's

We went over to Greg & Tara's for dinner. We got to see their beautiful new house, and Jonas got to do an Easter egg hunt. He even got prizes! We also decided it is impossible to get a nice picture of four children who are all under 3...

Easter at Grandma and Papa's

After church we headed back home to have brunch and an Easter egg hunt with Grandma and Papa. Jonas got another basket of goodies and found tons of eggs. He even got a Cars lunchbox with Mickey Mouse chocolates inside from Uncle Mike and Aunt Mary!

Easter Morning

Jonas woke up nice and early on Easter to find his basket from the Easter bunny. He found it hidden next to the kitchen, and even got to eat a couple pieces of candy before heading off to church in his handsome Easter outfit.

Dying Easter Eggs

Jonas loved dying Easter eggs, although he didn't quite understand that his whole hand should NOT go in the dye. Luckily, it washed off pretty easily.

Zoo Day!

Today was our first trip of the year to the Buffalo Zoo. The kids really like looking at all of the animals. The sea lion exhibit continues to be a favorite. Jonas also randomly requested to see reindeer, which were luckily right near us. He really enjoyed the playground there too. He even got up enough nerve to go down the big snake slide!

Visit to Pre-School!

Can you imagine? Jonas is going to pre-school next year! He went with Aunt Lisa, Uncle Matt, and Bethany yesterday to visit his school. He got to see his classroom and Mrs. Makey let them play with some of the toys!

Aunt Mary's Hermit Crab

We went over to Uncle Mike and Aunt Mary's house for the day on Sunday. Jonas got to meet Aunt Mary's little hermit crab. He was a little unsure of him at first, but he got over his nervousness pretty quickly. And guess what?!? Grandma and Papa brought him home a pet hermit crab from Florida! We will have pictures of Batman (the crab) soon! The thought occured to me that Jonas is 2 years old and has 2 pets (he also has a pet gold fish named Mike). I hope I don't have to keep adding a pet every year!

McDonald's Play Place

Playground Time

This is the same part of the playground that Jonas fell on last year when he had to go to the Emergency Room. That's as far up as he went this time. After the picture was taken, he climbed back down!

Great Grandma's!

We went to visit Great Grandma last night before she goes off to Florida. Jonas had a great time playing the "Balance the Placemat on your Head" game. In the first picture, Aunt Lisa told him to show her his cheese. Maybe next time she will ask to see the cheese in his hand, not in his mouth!

Down at the Pavilion

Jonas, Bethany, and Rebekah were playing down at the pavilion behind Uncle Matt and Aunt Lisa's house yesterday. In this picture, they told me they were "riding a train!"

Two Kisses!

Yesterday morning I was leaving for work and gave Jonas a hug and a kiss and stood up to leave. As I stood up, Jonas said, "Mommy, two kisses!" Made my day!
