Jonas and I hauled out all the Christmas decorations Sunday night. Only thing missing is the tree, which is coming in the mail this week! Can't wait!

Ice Skating
Uncle Mike has visions of Jonas being an NHL star, so off we went to the ice rink for the first time ever! Jonas started off pretty shaky, but with Coach Mike's instruction, he hung in there, and was taking baby steps on his own by the end! That's my boy!

Snow!!!
Jonas was thrilled that it finally snowed, and made plans as soon as he woke up to make a snowman. Luckily, it was great packing snow, so we could actually do it!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Jonas celebrated Thanksgiving with his dad at Grandma Herdlein's, and then again at Grandma Jane's! Despite it being his second dinner, Jonas was great and downed almost a whole can of cranberries...go figure! After dinner the kids cuddled up on the couch to watch Rudolph, and Jonas was down for the count in about 10 minutes.

Giant
Jonas: Is the giant up in the sky really on this earth?
Mommy: No, he's just a make-believe story.

Mall-O-Ween
The kids all went trick-or-treating up at the mall again this year. They loved it, and of course got a ton of candy. Jonas liked doing his Buzz Lightyear moves!
In case you can't tell, or just aren't familiar with kids movies, here's what the costumes were this year: Bethany - Little Bo Peep, Jonas - Buzz Lightyear, Rebekah - Jessie, Abby - Hamm. All Toy Story characters! I wonder how many more years we are going to get away with making them have coordinated costumes...

Visit to the Fire Station
Jonas' class went on a field trip to the fire station in October. The kids loved climbing in the fire trucks and seeing all the cool tools the firemen use!

The Great Pumpkin Farm
Jonas, Grandma Jane, and I went to the Great Pumpkin Farm again this year. We fed animals, got Jonas' face painted, watched a magic show, ate lunch, and went on a hayride, all before it started to downpour!
