Quote of the Day

Jonas (Lifting up his shirt, pointing at his nipples): Do you want to know what these are?
Mommy: What?
Jonas: My hips.

In swim class they tell him to swim with his hips...he must be really confused about how to do that!

Party Time!

Lisa and Matt held a "Meet Abby" party on Saturday. Jonas wasn't able to go since he was at Daddy's house, but I wanted to share these cute pictures!

Another Sunny Day

We enjoyed another sunny day, and Bethany got some practice riding her new bike! Jonas is still working on trying to pedal a big wheel...we'll get there eventually!

Future All-Stars

I don't think we'll have any pro sports players in our family, but we sure had a good time watching Beth and Jonas try to make baskets and hit a ball with a bat!

Funny Faces

These kids are always making goofy faces lately!

Crabs

Jonas really likes to play with hermit crabs. Grandma got 3 of them for her house- one for each grandchild. Jonas will even pick them up when they are coming out of their shell now.

Sandbox Time!

It was so great to have a day nice enough in March to play in the sandbox. The kids loved it!

Time Out?

This is what happens when you put Jonas in time out when he didn't take a nap!

Great Grandma's House

We went to visit Great Grandma last night. She got to meet Abby, and Jonas had a lot of fun playing with his cousins, Chris and Dan.

The Rest of the Museum

We looked for a few minutes around the rest of the museum. It wasn't quite as exciting. Jonas kept asking what he could touch and was disappointed that there wasn't very much that he was allowed to! They did like to look at the animals though. Jonas told me is was like going to the zoo, except all of the animals are dead!

Digestion

There was a whole area about digestion - complete with a giant nose that dripped "snot" and a poop machine! The kids loved it!

Use Your Hands!

There was a whole part about your hands. We put our hand under a microscope and saw how different all of our hands are. There were also puzzles and boxes you could reach into and guess what was inside.
