Mike's Motorcycle!

A couple of weeks ago, Mike got a new motorcycle and rode it over to Mom and Dad's for dinner. Ever since, Jonas has been super obsessed with them. Hopefully it blows over...

Despite the cooler temperatures today, Jonas had a blast swimming in Uncle Larry's pool. The girls were not so sure about the whole thing, and hung out mostly on the patio. I wouldn't be surprised if Jonas can swim by the end of summer!

Bronxville Trip

Jonas, Grandma, and I went to Bronxville this week to meet little Nathan (and visit Catherine and Erik, too!). He is so adorable and sweet, and we had a great time getting to know him. Here are some pictures from our week!

Jonas was covering his ears while he was sleeping. Do you think he was trying to give us a hint?

Playing Grandma's ipod

We are sporting our 3-D glasses in this picture! We saw Toy Story 3, which was a really good (and sad) movie.

Jonas had to go to the bathroom so many times on the way home that we gave up on trying to find rest stops.

Jonas' favorite game in the car was telling me to close my eyes, and then giving me a thumbs up and shouting "teamwork!" - over and over and over. I have no idea where he got that from, but it was pretty amusing!

Kid's Day at the Bison's

Sunday was kid's day at the game, and Jonas and Bethany ran the bases! They had a blast, and while they were down on the field, Rebekah was busy sleeping with grandma!

Quarry Day

This is Jonas and Great Grandma waiting for the big "boom" at the quarry.

After the blast, Jonas and Bethany climbed into a fire truck! I love that smile Bethany has.

Fun in a Box!

Bison's Game

We also went to a Bison's game on Memorial Day. Uncle Rick caught Jonas a baseball!

Memorial Day Camping Trip

Yep, you read it right. I am just now blogging from Memorial Day. I don't know what I have been doing with my time, but it obviously hasn't been blogging! Anyway, to save me some serious time, here is a post of mostly pictures from our weekend, with a few little side notes.

These pictures are from our first hike, on the Gorge Trail.

Right before this picture was taken, Jonas said "I'm cool!"

After the hike, we enjoyed a little playground time before lunch.

Our next hike was super awesome! The hike was along the creek, and for most of it, you could actually walk right in the water. Sometimes you could even go right up to a waterfall! Jonas was in heaven.

This is on Memorial Day. We went into "town" and watched the world's shortest parade. It was literally about 7 minutes, and that's being generous.

We stopped for ice cream before heading home...it was quite the disaster for Jonas!

All in all we had a great time, and we absolutely love that park. We will definitely be going again!

Happy Birthday Uncle Matt and Aunt Mary

Pre-School Graduation

Bethany and Jonas graduated from pre-school on Thursday. Make sure you watch the videos below. Jonas was really showing off and is pretty hilarious. I am so proud of both of them. It's amazing how much they've grown and learned in one school year!

Happy Birthday Rebekah!

Late as it may be - Happy Birthday Bekah! Bekah had an awesome Mickey Mouse birthday, with lots of fun presents and yummy cake. Yay, she's 2!!

Sandbox Fun!

Everyone is really enjoying the sandbox this year! The new fad is filling your shirt with sand so that it looks like a baby....weird kids!

Pre-School Presentation

Over the course of the pre-school year, the kids made books full of colors and numbers. The week before school ended, Mrs. Makey had a special little presentation to give the books to the kids. It was so neat to see some of the activities that Jonas and Bethany do all the time at school. Jonas was his usual self - goofy!

A Day Out With Thomas!

Jonas had a great time on his day with Thomas. The highlights included meeting Sir Topam Hatt, playing with the toy trains, a Thomas bounce house, and even riding on a pony! He loved the train ride, especially listening for Thomas' whistle. By the end of the day Jonas and I were both exhausted and fell asleep in the car in about 5 minutes. Good thing Grandma and Papa came with us!

Piano Recital

On Tuesday we went to the school for the learning fair and piano recital. Jonas listened to all of Uncle Matt's piano students play their songs, and especially loved that Jacob played "Boom, Boom, Ain't it Great to be Crazy?"! Bethany danced away to all the music, and the night was topped off with....you guessed it, ice cream!
