Visit to the Fire Station

Jonas' class went on a field trip to the fire station in October. The kids loved climbing in the fire trucks and seeing all the cool tools the firemen use!

The Great Pumpkin Farm

Jonas, Grandma Jane, and I went to the Great Pumpkin Farm again this year. We fed animals, got Jonas' face painted, watched a magic show, ate lunch, and went on a hayride, all before it started to downpour!

Doctor Update

Jonas went for his 4 year old check-up at the doctor. He weighs 37 pounds, and is 39 1/2 inches tall. He is healthy and doing well, but he might need to get glasses! Eye doctor appointment is scheduled for November 22nd!

Happy Birthday Jonas!

For Jonas' 4th birthday, we had a toy story themed party. His cousins Bethany, Rebekah, Abby, Ben, and Joey were all there. We turned mom's dining room into "Pizza Planet" - complete with games and activities. We had lots of yummy food, all toy story related. The kids' favorite was "Hamm in a blanket" (pigs in a blanket). They thought it was hysterical that they were eating Hamm! Jonas got some really fun presents, and everyone had a great time!

Lockport Caves

We went on a field trip to the Lockport Caves in the beginning of October. I was surprised at how interesting and well done it was. Jonas didn't understand too much of it, but he loved going in the cave and on the underground boat ride! He got to hang out with his special friends, too :)

Special Friends Chalk Day

At Trinity, the younger kids are paired up with an older "special friend" to bring them to chapel and do some activities throughout the year. A few weeks ago we had our first special friend activity - chalk day! Jonas is excited to have special friends, and he can even remember their names easy, because they are both named Ben!

Field Trip to Becker Farms

A few weeks back Jonas' class went on a field trip to Becker Farms. They learned all about how to properly pick apples, went on a little wagon ride to the orchard, and picked away! I loved how small the trees were. Perfect for the children, and the apples were delicious!

Bekah also can't wait until she can come to school! Every day she comes in my room and doesn't want to leave. Cute :)
I can't wait to watch Jonas and Beth grow and learn throughout the year. How lucky am I to get to teach the 2 cutest kids ever?
