Standing!

There's been a few things in the last week that are worth mentioning as far as Jonas' developments. About a week ago Jonas started standing on his own against the coffee table. He can also pull himself up to sitting or standing if he is holding onto my hands. He also learned how to say "da-da-da" and "rah-rah-rah" and "gah" all on Saturday. I think I'm going to have a little talker! Now if only he would crawl, he would be all over the place!

Feet!

In the past week or so, Jonas suddenly decided he is really into his feet again!

Mother's Day

I had an awesome Mother's Day. It started out with my baby being brought to me in bed, already fed, changed, and clean. I was served a delicious breakfast (with ice cream on the side!), and a gift certificate for a day of relaxation under my plate. After breakfast we headed to church and then to Great Grandma's for lunch. Jonas had fun hanging out with his cousins Bethany and Leah. After that we went over to Uncle Bob and Aunt Kathy's for dinner. By the time we got home Jonas was all tired out and went straight to bed. I thoroughly enjoyed my day of pampering, and I even got some really cute homemade gifts that Jonas made for me! Of course, for the whole day, I only have one picture...

Shades

Jonas and Bethany spent the afternoon outside in their pool. Jonas loved it! By the time he was done splashing and playing with Bethany, Jonas was pooped, and settled for a nap in the great outdoors.

Wiped Out!

Jonas didn't even make it through his bottle this morning! Man, all this fresh air is really tiring him out.

Despite the Sabres loss yesterday, Jonas and I still sported our Sabres gear. We know they'll win on Friday!

I just love this picture. Jonas is all soapy, and splashing away! This is why I always end up soaked at the end of bath time!

Happy Birthday Bethany!

On Saturday Jonas and I headed over to Aunt Lisa and Uncle's Matt's for Bethany's birthday party. Bethany got tons of cool stuff, and Jonas liked playing with it too! Hope you had a great birthday Bethers!

Zoo Day!

Bethany pushed Jonas around the zoo today with Aunt Lisa. He enjoyed the sun and his walk in the stroller!

Jonas was pretty impressed with the gorilla....well, it was the only animal they saw. Bethany was too busy walking around to be bothered looking at animals.

Doctor's Visit

6 Months Old!

Jonas went to the doctor on Wednesday. He is 26 inches, and 16 pounds. Still on the small side, but doing much better as far as weight. He is perfectly healthy and as cute as ever!

And an update on his latest developments. He can roll over both ways, and he can sit up all by himself. He is eating very well lately, fruits for lunch and veggies for dinner. He even just moved on to stage 2 foods! He has also learned to put his binkie in his mouth all by himself, which his daddy and I have enjoyed very much!

Happy Easter

Jonas is having fun celebrating his first Easter! He's already been to a party and gotten goodies. He was definitely enjoying himself.
