Birthday Party Number 2 - The Presents

More presents! Jonas got more books, clothes, and toys! What a lucky little boy he is.

Jonas is 11 months old! He's doing pretty well cruising around now. It won't be too long before he's walking! He is also eating a lot of new foods since he got his 2 bottom teeth...and he is drooling a lot too. He has been going over to Bethany's house every day since I started teaching this week. He is really loving playing with Bethany's stuff...especially her piano! She better watch out, Jonas is getting bigger!

Vacation!!

On Saturday the family headed up to the Thousand Islands for a vacation on Black Lake. We spent the week relaxing, eating, and visiting with the Herdleins. Jonas really got into the camping spirit. Every day there was a different themed "happy hour". Jonas sat back in a camping chair to enjoy his snack during the "Hollywood" happy hour.

Jonas' cousins kept him busy by playing with him every chance they got. Jonas loved the attention!

Jonas discovered his tongue while we were on vacation. He stuck it out all week long at people, and when he wasn't sticking it out he was trying to grab it with his fingers.

By the end of the week Jonas was content to just hang out with Daddy in the cabin (which was very nice and air conditioned).

And lastly, Jonas turned 10 months this week! He is turning into an expert crawler and is getting into all kinds of trouble. He is also beginning to try cruising...I have a feeling things are going to move fast from now on.

9 Months!

Jonas turned 9 months old on July 8th, so he had a doctor's appointment today. He is 19 lbs, 27.5 inches. Getting big! No shots today, but Jonas is quite upset because he was told it's time to start thinking about getting rid of his binkie...

TGIF

Check out the awesome mailbox Jonas got from his Aunt Kathy and Uncle Bob. He loves the ladybug that spins around on the bottom.Friday was such a beautiful day! Jonas and Bethany played on a blanket in the backyard all afternoon. Jonas loves getting attention from his big cousin, and got tons of it! He had a blast.

6 Months Old!

Jonas went to the doctor on Wednesday. He is 26 inches, and 16 pounds. Still on the small side, but doing much better as far as weight. He is perfectly healthy and as cute as ever!

And an update on his latest developments. He can roll over both ways, and he can sit up all by himself. He is eating very well lately, fruits for lunch and veggies for dinner. He even just moved on to stage 2 foods! He has also learned to put his binkie in his mouth all by himself, which his daddy and I have enjoyed very much!

Jonas played catch with Grandpa and Bethany today. He's going to grow up to play football like his daddy.

4 Months!

Jonas turned fourth months old on February 8 th. He weighs 12 lbs, 11 oz, and is 24 1/2 inches long. On Friday, he ate cereal for the first time! He's obviously not too sure about that; I think he likes his bottle much better! I'm sure he'll get used to it in no time.

3 Months!

My little baby is 3 months old today! I can't believe how big he is already. We're already packing up clothes he's grown out of, and bringing out new and excited toys for him to play with. He is smiling up a storm, and once in a while will let out a little laugh. He is definitely more into playing and attention rather than sleeping like he used to be. Now we're practicing our excercises and trying to roll over. Not too much longer before we have to start baby proofing!

One Month!

Today Jonas is one month old! I can't believe it's already been that long. He already holds up hid head pretty well, he loves to suck on his fingers now, and he's starting to stay awake longer during the day to play with his mom. This is the best picture I've been able to get so far of him smiling, but I'll keep trying. I kind of caught the end of it there! Still cute though.
