Baptism

My little boy got baptized yesterday! The service was very nice, and Jonas didn't even cry. He did spit up in the middle of it, but luckily it doesn't show up on his white suit. He was so cute with his white suit and black hair! After church everyone headed over to our house f0r a party. Jonas had a great time hanging out with his cousins, and Allison and Rachel even fed him! Thanks to everyone who helped out, we really appreciate it!

Little sidenote - Jonas sucked on a new binkie! It was largely out of desperation I think because I left the old one at the church, but it's still exciting!

Visiting Great Gram

Today Jonas and I went shopping with Great Grandma, and afterwards we went to her apartment for Jonas to eat. I guess she must be pretty scaring looking, considering Jonas covered his face the whole time she held him. He kept falling asleep while she was feeding him, and as he was he smiled! He did it about 5 times, but of course I could never get the camera fast enough. Hopefully he'll keep doing it more and more so I can catch it! It is absolutely adorable by the way, but I'm sure you knew that!


Jonas also had a good time on Sunday hanging out with his friends Ryan and Evan at Grandma Herdlein's house!

New House!

Well, I know it's been a little while since the last post, so you get to see lots of pictures this time. We had a very busy weekend. Jonas got to meet a bunch of new people, and he had lots of fun. Our friends Catherine and Erik were here for the weekend, and he got to meet a bunch more of his aunts and uncles and hang out with his cousins at Ben's christening on Sunday. Monday we hung out with the Herdlein's at Kathy's birthday party (Happy Birthday Aunt Kathy!). And guess what? Today we get to go close on our new house! Jonas can't wait to have his own room! By the way, he slept through the night for the second time last night! Yay Jonas!

Hanging out at home

Well, we have had a very busy couple of days. Sunday we tried to give the Bills good luck by dressing Jonas in his Bills onesie. Didn't work out of course, but we did have a good time going to the mall with Grandma, Aunt Lisa, and Bethany. For some reason I have a hard time remembering his diaper bag, but luckily Bethany wasnice enough to share her bottle, which Jonas had in Macy's bathroom. Good thing it had nice chairs for us to relax in! Monday we got to go visit Daddy at work and meet all the nice people he works with. Everyone loved Jonas of course. Tuesday Jonas got to see where Mom and Dad hang out every Tuesday. We went to Wild Wings, but I don't think Jonas was too impressed, because he slept through the whole thing. Today we are just relaxing at home and watching TV. Tomorrow we get to go to the doctor and see how big he is! I can't wait!

which lasted about 2 seconds before Mommy made him pick Jonas up and feed him properly.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to little Jonas Andrew, born on October 8th, 2006. He weighs 7 lbs, 13 oz, and is 20 1/2 inches long. He is the most adorable little boy, and both mom and baby are doing very well! (Dad isn't doing too bad either...but he did have the easiest job in the whole thing after all.)
