Wedding Day! - Getting Ready

It was quite an adventure getting ready for the wedding. Jonas hates wearing his tux, so there was a lot of bribing with fruit snacks in order to get him to let me put it on. He eventually did though, and he was the handsomest little ringbearer ever. Getting dressed and being stuck in a little room put both Bethany and Jonas in pretty cranky moods, but they cheered up when they discovered the closet they could play hide and seek in!

New 'Do

Uncle Mike gave Jonas a nice new hairdo when he got his hair cut on Friday!

Birthday Party Number 1 - The Clean Up

Long Island!

Over the weekend, Jonas, Grandma S, and I went to Long Island to visit Catherine and Erik. Jonas was perfect the whole trip, and had a great time trying to chase around their kitty. On Saturday, we went to the Maritime Festival. This is the museum that was there. It had lots of really cool boats and things from a long time ago. You would have to be a pretty big person to drive this boat!

If you look in the background of this picture, you can see pirates. There was a pirate show that we caught the end of, with real explosions and everything.

This is taken after we got home, but Jonas is playing with a pull-toy helicopter that Grandma got him at the craft fair. Of all the toys in the stand, Jonas cracked up at this one every time.

After the festival we went over to West Sayville to walk around the shops and be in air conditioning (It was hot!). Jonas rode this bus for 50 cents...he wasn't too impressed though, I gotta admit.

After a long day, Jonas was ready to have a bath and go to bed.

Painting!

Jonas and Bethany had a great time painting at Aunt Lisa's house! I think we may have a couple Picasso's on our hands!

Sleepover!

Saturday night we had a huge sleepover at Camp Pioneer! Jonas hung out with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Matt, Mommy, and of course, Bethany! They played late into the night, and then were put to bed in the bathroom! Had to fit in that little room somehow...

Sippy Cup!

Jonas has started using a sippy cup! The only problem is that Bethany usually gets it first...

Birthday Night!

Today we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's for Mike's birthday cake (which was a really cool dragon cake Aunt Lisa and I made). Jonas got to eat a chocolate graham cracker! He loved it and got it all over himself!

Cousin Bath Time!

Jonas and Bethany had their first bath time together this morning. I think they pretty much thought they were in the blowup pool.

Jonas and Bethany spent the afternoon outside in their pool. Jonas loved it! By the time he was done splashing and playing with Bethany, Jonas was pooped, and settled for a nap in the great outdoors.

Wiped Out!

Jonas didn't even make it through his bottle this morning! Man, all this fresh air is really tiring him out.

I just love this picture. Jonas is all soapy, and splashing away! This is why I always end up soaked at the end of bath time!
