Woo Hoo

Jonas and I went over to Aunt Lisa and Uncle Matt's the other day for a little visit. Jonas LOVED playing in Bethany's little exersaucer! He's a little too small for it still, but he loved to hear the animal sounds and the songs the toy played. And of course, little Bethany showed him how it's done!

(Now everyone convince Andrew that Jonas needs an exersaucer too!)

Early Bird!

Jonas was awake this morning at 7 AM, (which is early for him). So, by 8:30, we are both bathed, dressed, and playing! I have a feeling this is going to be a good nap day...

Mmmm....Oatmeal

Jonas officially likes oatmeal better than rice cereal! He still has a little trouble swallowing though, as you can tell from the amount of oatmeal that ended up on his face and bib!

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Yesterday we went to a birthday party for Grandpa Herdlein! As always, Jonas was all tired out from the party. He loves all the attention!

4 Months!

Jonas turned fourth months old on February 8 th. He weighs 12 lbs, 11 oz, and is 24 1/2 inches long. On Friday, he ate cereal for the first time! He's obviously not too sure about that; I think he likes his bottle much better! I'm sure he'll get used to it in no time.

Sleepy baby

Jonas slept over at Grandma's last night because we didn't want to take him back out in the bad weather. When I came back around 7:00 am, he had just woken up after a good night's sleep. Now, at only 9:00 am, he is already napping. He must have had a tough day yesterday!

Big boy!

Jonas slept in his new room last night! He only needed me to come upstairs twice to put his binkie back in for him. Makes me anxious for the day when he can do that himself. But, he woke up a happy boy! Here's some pictures of his nursery!

Play play play!

I know I haven't posted pictures in a little while, so here you go. Lately, all Jonas wants to do is play. He is no longer happy when you stop paying attention to him, but when you are, he has lots of adorable little smiles! He loves to look around at everything, and especially loves watching Sabres games. The fourth picture is him in distress last night after the Sabres lost to the Canadiens. Poor Jonas, he takes it so hard.

3 Months!

My little baby is 3 months old today! I can't believe how big he is already. We're already packing up clothes he's grown out of, and bringing out new and excited toys for him to play with. He is smiling up a storm, and once in a while will let out a little laugh. He is definitely more into playing and attention rather than sleeping like he used to be. Now we're practicing our excercises and trying to roll over. Not too much longer before we have to start baby proofing!
