Sunday we headed out to Batavia for Brian's birthday. Of course, we forgot to get a picture of Jonas with Brian. Oh well, happy birthday anyway!

Look at that Bird!

On Saturday Jonas went to a charity bowling event with Mommy and Daddy. He played with Dave and Zac while we bowled, and he met the Red Robin Bird!

Exersaucer

Jonas played catch with Grandpa and Bethany today. He's going to grow up to play football like his daddy.

Chuck E Cheese

Uncle Mike and Mary took the babies to Chuck E Cheese today. They had tons of fun!!! Jonas went on a roller coaster, rode a wave runner, and went on a train/carriage thing. What a big boy!

Back to the Mall

Jonas went to the mall again on Sunday with his cousin, Bethany. He had tons of fun playing in the sand.But then he gave up trying to hold his head up and got sand all around his mouth!
Having given up on the beach, we headed over to the Fisher Price area, where Jonas happily banged on the activity table.
What a tiring day!

What is going on?

I tried to show Jonas how fun a laundry basket can be today... he didn't really get the point. Maybe when he's a little bit older!

Happy Boy!

Today I put Jonas' toy attachment on his swing. He loves it!

Fun at the Mall!

Jonas and I went to the mall with Grandma today and we had so much fun! Jonas got to play in the sand at the beach for the first time. He pushed it all around with his little hands and watched all the bigger kids play in the sandboxes. Then he played in the Fisher-Price display , and went and saw all the animals in the pet store. After an eventful night, he is now sleeping peacefully in his crib . What a sweet baby boy I have.

Bath in the Sink!

Due to our neverending plumbing problems, Jonas had to have his bath in the sink today! Roughing it just like in the old days when Daddy was a baby.

Happy Birthday Aunt Lisa!

Today is Aunt Lisa's birthday! We love you!

Woo Hoo

Jonas and I went over to Aunt Lisa and Uncle Matt's the other day for a little visit. Jonas LOVED playing in Bethany's little exersaucer! He's a little too small for it still, but he loved to hear the animal sounds and the songs the toy played. And of course, little Bethany showed him how it's done!

(Now everyone convince Andrew that Jonas needs an exersaucer too!)

Friday Night Out

Grandpa S. babysat Jonas tonight, despite not feeling very well. By 7:00, here's how the two of them were spending their evening. How sweet.

Early Bird!

Jonas was awake this morning at 7 AM, (which is early for him). So, by 8:30, we are both bathed, dressed, and playing! I have a feeling this is going to be a good nap day...

Mmmm....Oatmeal

Jonas officially likes oatmeal better than rice cereal! He still has a little trouble swallowing though, as you can tell from the amount of oatmeal that ended up on his face and bib!

Who says my baby's underweight? Look at those chubby arms!

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Yesterday we went to a birthday party for Grandpa Herdlein! As always, Jonas was all tired out from the party. He loves all the attention!

4 Months!

Jonas turned fourth months old on February 8 th. He weighs 12 lbs, 11 oz, and is 24 1/2 inches long. On Friday, he ate cereal for the first time! He's obviously not too sure about that; I think he likes his bottle much better! I'm sure he'll get used to it in no time.

Sleepy baby

Jonas slept over at Grandma's last night because we didn't want to take him back out in the bad weather. When I came back around 7:00 am, he had just woken up after a good night's sleep. Now, at only 9:00 am, he is already napping. He must have had a tough day yesterday!
