Dancing Maniacs!

Check out the last time Bethany danced to this song!

Sing Like Ariel!

Bethany and Jonas like to try to sing like Ariel does in the movie. They were being really funny in the car on the way to Great Grandma's getting everyone to sing like her. The best is when Bethany declares, "You can't do it!" They crack up at themselves every time they watch this video!

Random Fun!

The kids were having a great time the other day trying on each other's hats and goofing around. They kept asking me to "Take a picture!", so here are some of the cute ones!

Playing in the Fort

Jonas had a lot of fun playing in his fort in the living room yesterday (still with his hat on). He even got to sleep in it!

Nice Outfits

Jonas looked absolutely silly wearing his pajama bottoms and t-shirt, and then to top it off, he wouldn't take off his hat or sneakers!

Play-Doh

Jonas and Bethany had a lot of fun experimenting with their new Play-Doh toys. They were especially amazed by the toy that made turtles!

Everybody was kung fu fighting!

This was at the Seneca Niagara Hotel - Jonas thought he was so cool balancing on this ledge!

Christmas on New Year's!

We had another Christmas celebration with the rest of the family on New Year's Day. Jonas got a lot more presents! He especially enjoyed his Mack truck, his kitchen set and Cars table and chairs, and his animal game! After all of the excitement he slept for a VERY long time...talk about a busy week!

Gingerbread House

New Year's Eve morning we took advantage of the day off and helped the kids make a gingerbread house! It fell apart almost as soon as they were finished, but it was fun while it lasted!

Rock Star!

On New Year's Eve Uncle Mike and Aunt Mary brought over their new Guitar Hero. Jonas had a great time playing the drums!

Photo Shoot!

Jonas really loves it when I take pictures of him showing me all of his toys. Here he's showing off his Mickey Mouse stuffed animals! Usually the photo shoots just result in me having 10 of practically the same picture, but I thought this little collage of them was cute!

New York City!

While we were on Long Island we spent a day in New York City. Jonas was really amazed by all the sounds and sights of the city...of course, that's not surprising since he's only used to little Buffalo! Every time he heard a car honk, he asked "What's that?" What does that tell you for NYC compared to Buffalo! Jonas didn't even know what a car horn sounded like!

This is Jonas riding the train into Penn Station, which was one of his favorite parts of the day. He couldn't believe he got to go on a real train!

Here we are in front of the Macy's Christmas window displays. They were pretty amazing, and Jonas liked watching it all.

Jonas got a pretzel from a NYC street vendor!

We went into Toys R Us in Times Square. There were tons of neat things in there that Jonas liked. He saw Geoffrey the Giraffe, Spiderman, the Statue of Liberty and Empire State Building made out of Legos, and Candy Land. But his favorite thing was the giant dinosaur that really moved and roared!

This is in front of M & M world, which was Jonas' favorite stores in Times Square. I wonder why?

We headed over to Rockefeller Center to see the big Christmas tree. Jonas thought that was pretty cool, but he thought the birds coming up really close to him were even cooler!

This is Jonas on the walk back to Penn Station...pooped!

Visiting Catherine and Erik

Jonas and I headed out after Christmas to Long Island to visit Catherine and Erik. Jonas loved them and had a lot of fun...even if their poor cat was too afraid to come out all weekend!

During our trip we went to Erik's grandparent's house for his grandma's birthday. Jonas immediately loved Chris' (Erik's brother) girlfriend Jess. He played with her all night and then even got to see her again when we went into New York City for the day!

Opening Presents

Jonas took all morning to open his presents, but he got pretty good at it! It was so cute to see him get excited by each one.

Every time he opened a present, he said "Open it!" to whoever was closest to him. He played with almost every present before opening the next one...which made it last a long time! He took the time to line up his alphabet blocks...

read his books...

try on his Cars slippers...

and check out all the sounds and gadgets of his Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (his favorite toy)...

but at the end of the morning, all he wanted to do was sing into his McDonald's microphone that we got with a Happy Meal months ago. That's a kid for you!

Here's my favorite videos of Jonas opening presents.

I like this one because Jonas thought he still had to press something on the box to make it sing the "Hot Dog" song, so he was trying to find the box instead of playing with his toy!

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning I woke up at about 6 AM...Jonas woke up at 7:45. Who do you think was more excited? He did perk up pretty fast!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we headed to Wheatfield to Uncle Tom's house for a get together. Jonas looked very handsome in his Christmas outfit! He had a lot of fun playing with his cousin Ben, and he also got to see his cousin Katie, Uncle Jim, and Aunt Mary Jean from Florida! His highlights were the singing Santa, cookies, and playing hide-and-go-seek with Ben.

One of Jonas' favorite holiday things is his Christmas Mickey Mouse!

Jonas, Bethany, and Rebekah gave Great Grandma a calendar filled with cute pictures for 2009.

Snow Day!

Today was a snow day! I took the kids outside to enjoy the snow. They learned how to make snow angels, played in the boat sandbox, and even filled Jonas' dump truck with snow. After we were tired and freezing, we headed inside for some "warm" chocolate.

Christmas in Clarence

Jonas loved all the decorations at Christmas in Clarence! But, of course, his favorite part was the train ride. It's hard to beat that!

Being Goofy with Papa

Look at the silly things Papa has Jonas do! My favorite is the socks!

Christmas Cookie Cut-outs

Jonas helped decorate Christmas cookies tonight. He wanted to do everything himself, which ended up in some very interesting cookies!
