Jonas had a lot of fun playing with the toys at the doctor's office while he waited for Bethany to be done with her appointment. (Dr. Darlene bragged about how good Beth was!)

Update!
Jonas went to Quest today to get some bloodwork done. They had to pump his arm a bit and move the needle around to get the blood moving, but he hardly even cried! The nurse was impressed that he was such a "toughie", as she called him. He's also been talking! He says quite a few words now, including doggie, taggie, hi, bye, no, eye, juice, there you are, ball, and uh-oh. It's quite a big jump from a couple of weeks ago when the doctor told me he was behind on his speech!

Sandbox Time!
Jonas and Bethany were very excited to be able to play in the sandbox again on Aunt Lisa's balcony!
Trip to the Poconos!
Over the weekend Jonas and I took a trip to the Poconos to see Cat and Erik. This is how Jonas was for at least half of the 5 hour car trip...both ways! Couldn't ask for more!

18 Months!
Jonas went to the doctor last week for his 18 month check-up. He is 25 lbs, 3 oz and 31 3/4 inches tall. He is up to speed with all of his developments, except he is a little bit behind with his speech. He was a trooper and impressed the nurse when he got his shot...he didn't even flinch let alone cry! What a tough boy.

Update...
Just a little update on all of the new things Jonas is doing! He can now say "ball" and "ma-ma"...finally! He is turning into a wonderful helper around the house. He picks up his toys, throws aways garbage in the trash can, and tries to wipe the tables and floors with paper towels. What a little sweetie!
Get in Position...and Jump!
Jonas really revs up when he tries to jump. He squats really low, and then uses all of his energy...sometimes he even gets his feet off the floor!
Happy Easter!
Jonas had a very nice Easter, and he looked really handsome in his outfit! It even lasted all day...which is pretty amazing for him! He spent some time at Grandma & Grandpa's, went to see Great Grandma (and saw Joey!), and went over to Uncle Tom's for dinner (and saw Ben!).
Dance the Night Away...
Jonas loves to dance...it's really more like a wiggle! I caught him mid-dance move!

Can I go to bed please?
Yesterday Jonas and I got home from Grandma and Grandpa's house at about 9:00 PM. Jonas was still awake, so I brought him in and took off his coat. He immediately headed for the stairs and climbed up. When we got up there he walked into his bedroom, went over to the heater to remind me to turn it on, and then asked to be picked up. I said his prayers with him, he gave me a kiss, and then put his arms out towards his crib. I can't believe he went to bed practically by himself. What a sweet boy!

The face Jonas is making in the first picture is the face he makes when he says "ooooo". It's better when you can see his whole face, but he says it all the time for some reason! He must be really impressed with life.
