Christmas in Gowanda

Duane and I took the family to the annual Christmas in Gowanda event on Saturday.  Uncle Mike, Aunt Mary, Hayden, and Grandma and Papa all came, too.  We went on a train ride, and Santa was there!  The adults enjoyed the scenery, and the kids enjoyed their doughnuts, and everyone was happy :-)

We visited Jesse's Toy Box (a really neat little toy store) and all the kids received a free bendable toy for participating in the event.  After that, we headed to the theater to see Frosty the Snowman.  When we got home, the kids played outside for an hour or so and had fun playing in and building forts.  It was a great, wintery, super cold day!

Festival of Lights

We brought the kids to the Festival of Lights on Saturday.  I actually didn't get any pictures of lights...weird huh?  But...here's some other cute ones!

Jonas was picked during the game show to be a contestant.  He had to throw and try to catch a big blow up rocket.  He didn't catch it, but he had a great throw that his teammate caught!

They also drove through a big light show, saw a magic show, and saw some reindeer...but somehow I forgot to take pictures of all that!  We had a great time, as always!

Roast Beef Dinner

Last night we went to Trinity's roast beef dinner and auction. Jonas got to see Santa again, and he had a great time playing with Grace and Hope! He put his arms out right away for "Claus", as he calls him, to pick him up. He also ate so much junk food he threw up...all in all a pretty interesting night.

Santa!

Santa came to visit Jonas last night! It only took him a couple minutes to warm up to him, then he sat on his lap, read a story, and gave him 2 hugs goodbye! He even heard Santa's sleigh bells outside after he left. Now he's really excited for Christmas!

Christmas at the Plaza

On Friday night, we went with Grandma to the Southgate Plaza. They had a whole bunch of little activities for the kids. Jonas got to sit on Santa's lap, and he went on a horse and carriage ride around the parking lot. He saw reindeer too, although he thought they were kind of boring.

Jonas met Santa!

Jonas went to the Knight' s Christmas party on Saturday and met Santa! He didn't even cry! And, he got to hang out with some of his cousins too.




After the party, we headed out to Batavia for bowling. Guess who's in town! Jonas had fun hanging out with Dave and Kathy while Andy and I bowled.

After his big day, Jonas passed out until about 8:30 this morning. And when I went to wake him up for church, this is how I found him in his bassonet. I couldn't resist getting a quick picture before starting the day!
