Last Day of Pre-School

Believe it or not, Jonas and Bethany are already done with Pre-School! They graduated on Thursday, May 23rd. In September they will be Kindergartners!

The kids all signed beach balls like they were yearbooks and then we took them out on the playground for some play time.

All of the kids sang a couple songs for their graduation and got certificates. Bethany and Jonas both did a really good job! And of course, we had treats to celebrate!

Jonas was climbing on a jungle gym and looked a little unsteady, so Uncle Matt asked him if he needed help. His response? "No, I'm king of the world!"

Jonas, while playing on the playground at the campground, yells "This is the best day ever baby! This is fun baby! This is cool baby!" I think he's excited!

Happy Birthday, Rebekah!

Ok, so Rebekah's birthday was the 16th, so we're a little late. But nevertheless, she had a super cute "Pinkalicious" & "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" birthday!

Of course, we decorated a cake. Actually, we opted for cupcakes this time, and made the letters from Chicka Chicka Boom Boom on top. The cupcakes were pink with pink frosting to tie in Pinkalicious!

Jonas and I traveled to Bronxville over the weekend to wish Nathan a very happy first birthday! He was super cute and is getting to be such a big boy.

Nathan slept through some of his party, but he woke up in time to try some cake (which he wasn't too crazy about!) and open a few presents. Of course, Jonas was right there to help him out.

We just finished a perfect soccer practice...no crying! Go Jonas!!!

We are having a walkathon at school this afternoon and Jonas is getting a piggy back ride from one of the seventh graders! Must be nice!

Bikes Everywhere!

Jonas got a new 2-wheeler bike (with training wheels) from his friend at school, so we tried it out yesterday! We still need to work on the pedaling a bit, but I bet we'll have it down by the end of summer. Bethany was already riding around with no problem!

I just hit my hand on the door jam and said "ow, that hurt!" After Jonas looked at it he told me it couldn't hurt that bad because I'm not bleeding.

We are 30 minutes into soccer and Jonas just had his first breakdown because he didn't get a drink. The coach responded "Oh no! The world is caving in!"

Jonas woke up and found his Easter basket in less than 1 minute this morning...I guess the Easter Bunny will have to find a harder spot next year! He got a fun chocolate motorcycle and train, but the highlight was the new tag books!

Movie Time

We relaxed after lunch and watched some of Nanny McPhee (one of my current favorites). It was too much down time for Bekah, who fell fast asleep. Bethany decided to pretend to be sleeping, too!
