Pumpkin Carving!

We carved pumpkins on Tuesday! Jonas actually thought it was "gross". It took him a good 15 minutes to touch it at all with his hands. Who would've thought Jonas would want to be neat? He did end up doing a very good job!

It Is Possible!

I was so excited when I got this picture! This may be our first picture with all three kids actually looking at the camera.

Oh the Places You'll Go

Jonas is still getting used to sleeping in a big boy bed. Poor boy... I have no idea how anyone could sleep like that.

Happy Birthday!

My little boy is 2! I can't believe how fast the time has gone. He has grown up so much and is learning things so quickly that I can't even keep up with him. I feel like I am always saying, "When did you learn how to say that?" He makes me smile every day!

Cars Room!

Jonas is sleeping in his big boy Cars bed for the first time tonight! He helped Papa and me put his bed together this afternoon, and was quite excited about everything being Cars. I checked on him a little bit after I put him to bed and he was sound asleep!

2nd Birthday Party - Play Time!

After things calmed down a bit, Jonas started to relax and played with all of his new toys!

2nd Birthday Party - Cake

We made a racetrack cake to go with the Cars theme. As you can tell, Jonas loved it!

2nd Birthday Party - Presents!

Jonas got tons of wonderful presents. He is moving into a big boy room, so he got a lot of Cars things to make the transformation. He also got a Cars racetrack complete with Lightning McQueen and Doc Hudson racecars. He got some Hot Wheels and a cool car storage case that is shaped like a wheel. He also got some cute clothes. And that's just some of it! Luckily Bethany was there to help open them, so it didn't take too long. There was paper flying everywhere! What a lucky boy.

2nd Birthday Party - Dinner

Mmmm....hot dogs and rolls....

"It's my party and I'll cry if I want to!"

"Oh yeah! I get presents and cake!"

2nd Birthday Party - Discovering Cars!

We decorated for Jonas' birthday party while he was taking a nap. He was so excited when he came downstairs and found everything decorated with Cars!

Chuck E Cheese Please!

We always try to do a sibling outing around the time of each of our birthdays. For mine, we took the kids and we all went to Chuck E Cheese. Jonas wasn't feeling too great because he had a cold, but he forgot about it pretty fast once he had 15 rides to choose from. I have to admit, I liked playing the games too!

"I Love You!"

That is definitely my favorite thing that Jonas says!

Marble Painting

Jonas made marble paintings with Bethany. He liked rolling the balls around in the big box the best, and he chose all the colors himself! The paintings turned out really neat and will make great cards.

Fall Festival

Today we went to the 8th annual Fall Festival at the Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve. The kids had a great time looking at all different kinds of animals. Jonas' favorite was the tarantula! He definitely isn't like his mother where spiders are concerned! He even picked the picture of a spider to get painted on his face at the face-painting station.

Happy Birthday Mommy!

Saturday was my birthday so we all celebrated with some cake and ice cream pie. Jonas got me a little kid charm with his birthstone in it for my phone, and a purse and giftcard to Marshall's. He even learned how to say "Birthday, Mommy!" What a sweet little boy! Less than a month until it's his turn...

Kissing Torture!

My poor little boy has such a crazy mommy...

Play Time!

Jonas had a great time playing at Aunt Lisa's today. He got to draw on the easel with marker and get his hands all messy. He practiced his letters and numbers with the magnets and counted "one, two" about a hundred times in a row. He also had a great time playing in the boxes Aunt Lisa was using to reorganize!
